Computer Applications in Business 3
Students enrolled in this course will apply, develop, and expand keyboarding, software, and digital citizenship skills in order to meet and exceed the computer literacy expectations required for academic and professional success. Each student will have individualized learning objectives (ILOs) based on his/her own skills and abilities and will work in a self-paced learning environment that is designed to develop research skills, encourage critical thinking, and enhance problem solving.
PGMS 8th graders have the opportunity to achieve a wide-range of globally-recognized digital tools and industry certifications to support academic and professional success:
In addition, students will use CANVAS and FOCUS to monitor and manage academic assignments and grades in other classes. Opportunities to use classroom hardware and software to support learning in core academic classes are available as long as students are meeting the individual learning objectives (ILOs) set for this class.
