Mrs. Cox loves being a first grade teacher at Vineland! This will be her fourth year of teaching and she is so excited to be back in first grade! Mrs. Cox graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing. She then returned to school to pursue her true passion of teaching and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She also taught competitive dance for 8 years. Mrs. Cox was born and raised in Ohio and currently lives with her husband, Kevin and their rescue puppy, Breck. She loves being outside, going fishing, and visiting her family in Ohio.

Personal Mission: It is my goal as a teacher of young children to help them meet their fullest potential by providing an environment that encourages risk taking and invites the sharing of ideas with each other. I want students to be inspired and motivated to learn every day. I believe that every student deserves their education to be in an encouraging and supportive environment with a teacher who truly believes in them every step of the way.
