Welcome to 8th-grade Physical Education, Cougars!

This is my seventh year teaching in the Florida education system. I am from Rochester, New York, and I am very excited to be a part of your community and look forward to getting to know you and your students. 

Parents:

Our physical education department is brand new this fall and we bring with us a lot of excitement and energy. You can expect from us to be transparent, consistent, open-minded, and willing to assist our students in any way possible to help them succeed. We, in turn, will expect our students to be respectful, prepared for class and demonstrate good judgement and sportsmanship. Active participation in P.E. is a requirement and each student will earn daily points based on their involvement and adherence to classroom rules and school policies.  

I promise to treat your students the way I would want someone to treat my children. I have been in the field of education for 20 years and could not imagine a greater profession. I enjoy teaching and hope that your students will be able to recognize the dedication our Physical Education Department has to their education.  

Please be sure to check our website and Canvas for updates for lessons and general information. Student grades are posted twice a week in their FOCUS accounts and are available to you at all times, as well as my class notes. This allows you to be kept up to date as to your student's progress in physical education.
