    On behalf of the PTO Board, we are very excited to welcome you back to another great school year and a special Cougar welcome to our new teachers & staff.  

    We are proud to represent a school that earned an "A" for the 2nd year in row!  Thank you for all you long hours and dedication to making our school the best it can be! 
    We are looking forward to working with you to support our children's' education by not only fundraising but by fostering relationships among the school, parents and teachers.  Our fundraising efforts have allowed us to contribute over $15,000 for the 2019-2020 school year for teacher mini grants, end of year field trips/celebrations (we were able to fund all 3 grade level trips for all students), staff appreciation, staff back to school luncheon, postage for the quarterly newsletters, and new picnic tables for the outside covered area.  We hope to exceed that this year.
    Again, thank you for allowing me to take a few minutes to speak at the faculty meeting.  Here are a few important reminders:
    Aug. 26: 1st PTO Meeting at 6pm immediately following the 5:30 SAC Meeting.   Our meetings reoccur every 4th Monday of the month.  We'd love for you to join us!  Membership is free!
    Sept. 6:  Family Sponsorship Fundraisers Due.  The homeroom with the most participation will receive a class party of choice (i.e. Donuts, Pizza, Ice Cream, etc.)  **New this year, the homeroom will receive a $50 gift card to one of our fabulous local restaurant.  These should be going home to ALL students today :)
    Oct. 1:  Box Top Fall Collection Deadline.  **New this year, we have a deadline date to send in box tops for both Fall and Spring.  Please place them in bucket near PTO mailbox.
    Oct. 4:   Cougar Color Run at 5:30pm *Family Event*  - This is not a fundraiser.  We merely break even but we love that it is a special event that brings our community together.  Parents enjoy meeting their child's friends and families as well as teachers too!
    Nov. 1:  Mini-Grants Due - This is our favorite event as this is what drives our fundraising!  We love helping teachers finance their projects that enhance the curriculum.  See grant form under the Parents/PTO section of the school website.
    Nov. 16: Annual Golf Tournament - Community Fundraiser - **Please note change of venue -Rotonda Golf & Country Club at the Hills.  We are in need of lots of Sponsorship, golfers and volunteers.  See the information and registration form under the Community/Annual Golf Tournament section of the school website.
    ***NEW Fanwear by Sideline will be available soon.  Stay tuned.
