Congratulations PCHS Model United Nations Academic Team!

This past week the PCHS Model UN Academic Team traveled to Boston to compete in Boston University's International MUN Conference. Sixteen (16) PCHS delegates competed against 102 other schools and over 1,500 students from across the entire country and around the world. During the closing awards ceremony, in an event where less than 10% of students receive awards for their performances, all 16 PCHS delegates were so honored.

Some of the top U.S. teams and top teams from China and Mexico attended. In the end, Port Charlotte was announced as the #1 BEST SCHOOL DELEGATION of the entire conference for its excellent performance across all committees. Our students represented their school and our community with great honor, integrity, and professionalism. They worked incredibly hard in preparation and during the many hours of the 4-day conference.

Winning First PlaceBest Delegate gavels were seniors Zoe Ortiz and Noah Reid, and sophomore Anthony Bellino.
