CCPS Enacts Hurricane Make-Up Days

Charlotte County, FL (October 16, 2024)

Due to Hurricane Helene and Milton, CCPS has missed a total of 7 instructional days. To support our students' academic progress, CCPS will be utilizing the three School Board approved Hurricane Make-up Days scheduled for Monday, November 25, Tuesday, November 26, and Wednesday, November 27. This calendar was Board approved in December 2023.

While we understand that these days may impact family plans, we believe it's essential to prioritize student learning after missing seven instructional days. We've carefully considered this decision and have chosen to waive the additional four make-up days.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work together to support our students' academic success.
